Experience, Education & Ethics are the key ingredients that have steered the success of the APO Group.

Whilst we have a number staff members that may assist you that are not included here, at some point in your journey with us you will be assisted by one or all of the professionals below:

Jason Savage :: General Manager

Jason is the General Manager of the Your Community Realty and the APO Group. Jason offers expertise in all areas of the industry from his extensive background in finance, real estate & property acquisition. Jason oversees the day to day running of the company and liaises with each department within the company. One of Jason’s key roles on behalf of the company’s clients is to liaise & oversee the construction process of their investment properties from start to completion, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that build quality is of an absolute premium. Jason’s position is that of a very ‘hands on’ nature and is always available for our clients.

Glen Sainsbury :: Property Economist

Glen is a founding Director of the company. Glen was the sole scholarship holder for Property Economics at the University of Technology, Sydney. Glen was then recruited to Jones Lang LaSalle Sydney where he became the youngest negotiator in the Asia-Pacific region for the company, where his portfolio included publicly listed companies, state government bodies and some of the property industry's largest players. Glen then relocated to Brisbane where he co-founded the APO Group.
Glens expertise enables our clients to derive the latest research from a myriad of sources including Real Estate Institute of Queensland, Residex, Australian Property Monitors, Property Council Of Australia, PRD Nationwide, Matusik Property Insights, Domain, Local Authorities & Councils, RP Data, Infrastructure plans, QLD State Government and Industry Bodies & Publications. Glen's research & advice is both paramount to our clients and staff alike. Glen's expertise takes all of the guesswork out of finding the right properties for YCR clients.

Richard Marryatt :: Finance Manager

Our Finance Manager Richard Marryatt has worked in the financial services industry for close to 50 years! Richard commenced his employment within the finance sector in 1958, straight out of High School as a Junior in a bank. He has remained in the industry to date and has managed numerous banks prior to commencing his vitally important role as Finance Manager for us. Through Richard’s lifetime employment in the industry he has an extensive list of accreditations & qualifications. Through his vast experience & qualifications we believe that there is not a better person for the job than Richard. His beautiful wife Caroline also heads up our Property Management division.

Clayton Pope :: Finance & Investment Consultant

Clayton works as the investment consultant for the YCR / APO Group, where he assists in the tax and investment issues relating to investment properties. Clayton has had vast experience in the finance and mortgage industry, both in Australia and abroad where he was the Vice President of a successful major international mortgage company based in America. Clayton's forte is to recognize the required products needed to provide independent information based on his clients specific wants and needs.

Leanne McCormack :: Administrative Manager

Leanne is the heart & soul of the YCR / APO Group office. She handles all matters of an administrative nature & provides support for the directors, managers, staff & clients alike. While Leanne may not have extensive interaction with our clients, she works tirelessly behind the scenes ensuring all measures are in place for the company to best service our clientele.

 

 

Chelle McKay :: Property Manager

Beginning work as a trainer for disadvantaged youth in the country town of Mackay, after 10 years decided a change was in order and become a Personal Assistant for a Property Manager at a local agency.  Chelle quickly realized this was the industry that she wanted to build a lifetime career in. Beginning with a traineeship she worked her way up to Licensee and ran two large rental only agencies before arriving here at Your Community Realty.  “I believe to make an impact in the Rental area you need to have a passion for it, and I do.  I like to make sure my tenants are happy in their properties, because a happy tenant means happy owners” Working alongside her longtime friend Trish, she believes Your Community Realty will be a name on everyone’s lips.

Trish Martin :: Assistant Property Manager

Trish is an assistant property manager with our firm. Originally from Central Queensland where she was schooled and entered the workforce, Trish moved to Brisbane in 2000, commencing employment in the Finance Industry. She worked in finance for 5 years before moving into the Real Estate Industry, where she has been an assistant property manager since that time. Trish is part of our great team working hard and building the rent role at Your Community.
